A few Maps based on Call of Duty created within Fortnite’s Creative 2.0 have been taken off the game in response to DMCA removal notices from Activision. Creative 2.0 was released as the most recent version of the game’s creativity division, opening the way wide for players to display their imagination by designing customized Maps and Mods.
Call of Duty Maps Removed from Fortnite
Maps created by users that gained in popularity quickly were recreations of fans’ favorite Call of Duty maps, however, these maps were deleted from the game because of DMCA removal notices sent out by Activision.
The maps featured included animations that were reminiscent of Call of Duty maps Rust and Shipment. Epic has previously warned players about the rules for intellectual property contained that were included in Fortnite Creative 2.0. Mist Jawa also made a announcement on Twitter and stated that Epic will not be making copies of the maps that are copyrighted and the maps they created earlier were deleted.

A few fans have pointed out that the fan-created levels by the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s level editor similar to locations that were revived from other intellectual property like those in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 custom Zombies map, which creates Dunder Mifflin.
