Intel along with ARM collaboration

According to the report, Intel and ARM are teaming up to present ideas for 2nm processes called 20A and 1.8nm which is known as 18A in the new timeframe. In the beginning plans for mobile world will be created.

Within the ARM collaboration, Intel will prepare optimized architectures that can be used in both the 18A and 20A models. The various mobile designs that are based on these designs will be made available to players in the industry. Naturally, the manufacturers that wish to make use of the designs will be knocking at Intel’s door. In the coming time it is expected that the Internet of Things, data centers, automotive industry and space exploration industries are also included in the collaboration.

There isn’t any details on the firms that are interested in the designs at this time. Because Apple is working closely with TSMC for a considerable period of time this should be kept distinct from this development. It’s possible that firms like Qualcomm, MediaTek, UNISOC might want at least one design within their product line.
