Marvel’s Avengers Cosmetics Get Free

Crystal Dynamics is ending support for Marvel's Avengers which is a game with 16 million players, and is due to be released in 2020. The studio announced it on January 1, the most recent update to the content for Marvel's Avengers has removed completely the in-game store and made paid cosmetic items available to every player.

The update 2.8 creates “virtually all non-inspired MCU-inspired Outfits and Emotes as well as Nameplates” available for download according to the developer. However, any items that are not which aren’t unlockable by single-player games or are part of the cosmetics store for free will remain locked until users are able to unlock them via natural advancement.

It is also being removed from the Hero Challenge Cards and Shipments system is also taken out of the game, and its items are made available to all players free of charge. The same time any premium currency Credits in the players’ accounts were converted into game resources.

For the final reward to fans, Crystal Dynamics is introducing an entirely new look for Iron Man. The style closely resembles Warmachine as shown in the video above. The skin will be available to players who have at the very least one Avengers achievement prior to April 1st.

The Marvel Avengers Update 2.8 is currently in beta for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 platforms and also Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus Extra subscriptions.
