Ubisoft decides to act to save its most popular game

Ubisoft has made the first move to protect its Far Cry franchise from the deep swathe it landed in. The game is now available with an improved team.

Certain developers are expected to maintain not just new games, but also their existing series in existence and of high-quality. Ubisoft is one of these. The company, which owns established series for a long time, such as the Assassin’s Creed series as well as Far Cry, has had difficulties keeping these series in good condition for a long period of time. The company eventually assumed the responsibility to take over Far Cry.

Ubisoft is announcing they have promoted Sandra Warren to the position of Vice President for the Far Cry development group.

Ubisoft did not have a chance to maintain a seam following Far Cry 3. The Far Cry 4 and 6th games weren’t very successful. But, Far Cry 5 was highly successful. Warren was also part of the team that ran Far Cry 5.

So, Ubisoft is extremely pleased of Warren as well as his efforts and believes it’s the perfect choice for the future direction for the company’s branding. Warren has a proven track record in the expertise in the industry and a reputable role within the company, will be working with the team in charge of managing the portfolio of brands along with the editorial department as well as the production team in international.

The author’s promotion marks the second major update to the brand in recent times. Drew Holmes, the author of one of the earlier games, was promoted to IP Director. This means that he will be able to influence what the next chapter of this series through writing. However, Warren is expected to play the top part in the company’s brand.

If you’re wondering why these rankings really matter, it’s because although Far Cry is one of the most successful franchises Ubisoft has created however, it’s also one more inconsistent. Ubisoft has announced it was working on the 7th main game in the series is currently being developed and an online multiplayer Far Cry game is being created.

To this end, Ubisoft would like to meet people who are in the early stages of the games that have become popular within the franchise. Returning to the origins of the series in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, the company hopes to recreate the same excitement for the next installment, Far Cry.
