Removal of ray tracer support of ray tracing Resident Evil 2 and 3

Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 both of which attract attention for their amazing graphics, were updated with a upgrade to the latest generation in the year 2000. A fascinating update is now available for the game that also includes ray tracer support.

Steam’s version of the games say goodbye to support for ray tracing

The Japanese-based firm, which has updated Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 7 games for Xbox Series and PS5 consoles in the past year, also provided certain innovations that were exclusive to players on the PC platform. Ray-tracing, which is one of these breakthroughs was taken out of productions as part of a company-wide update that was not announced.

Many users on social media sites have stated that the ray-tracing feature in Resident Evil 2 and 3 was removed. Some users claim that this issue was present with Resident Evil 7. The update, which came out without any release information on Steam and is believed to be a glitch. Capcom will likely issue an announcement on the issue in the next few days.
